How did you arrive at Ensign? What path brought you here?

I have spent the last 20 years delivering Integrated Network Services, Managed Solutions, Unified Communications and Technical Consultancy.

In the last 5 years I developed a passion for implementing Wireless Networks and so joining Ensign, who are a leading integrator of enterprise wireless solutions, was a perfect match for me.

What are you known for professionally? What do you have a knack for?

Doing what I say I am going to do when I say that I’m going to do it.

Problem solving and making things happen!

Being creative and thinking outside of the box.

What are you most passionate about professionally? What most excites you about your work & the contribution you can make?

In our industry I am fascinated by the way that wireless technologies have grown exponentially. The dynamic and innovative way that it evolves so rapidly, it’s an ever changing and growing market and the demand has never been higher.

I find the technology and its applications captivating and all of the ways that utilising this technology can really drive change within a business.

PERSONAL STUFF

What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy?

I love having things to look forward to so my diary is always full of social events, new restaurant openings, spa days with friends.

I love planning breaks away or days out and, as a self-confessed girlie girl, I’m never happier than when I’m shopping for shoes and dresses. 

Where can we find you when you’re not working? What’s your favourite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?

Weekends are for spending time with my favourite people, visiting my Mum, drinking coffee in a nice coffee shop, going out for dinner and drinks with friends, relaxing with a good book or spending time in the garden. 

I am renovating my house currently so no weekend is complete without looking at wallpaper samples, going to a garden centre and mentally re-designing rooms in my head.

What would be impossible for you to give up?

Laughing, Life is simply too short to be serious all the time.  When life gives you lemons make a G&T.

Anything else you’d like to tell people about yourself?

Friends and family have banned me from talking about wireless communications in social situations because apparently I talk about it all the time.

Unusual fact…my parents are called Mary & Joseph!
